![]() ![]() I had a confirmed reservation and Marriott platinum status, but they still inexplicably gave my room away. I arrived to SpringHill around 11:30 after a fiasco w/ the SLC Avis and was informed that I was being “walked” to another hotel. We are extremely disappointed for the lack of customer support for the price we paid. It’s been over a week and they still haven’t reached out to us. Because it was late and we were tired we still stayed, hoping they would make things right but they never did. My kids were coughing and we all felt uncomfortable sleeping with black mold and said there was nothing they could do. And they still charged our card of over $200 for a one night stay in a filthy room. I sent him photos and then he decided he would contact someone superior but never offered or gave any other accommodations. Tired and exhausted, I go back to the front desk to tell them and his response was “shoot” and nothing more. When getting ready to shower, I examine the bathroom walls and found PUBIC hair and BLACK MOLD. We checked the pullout couch and saw white crusty marks so I informed the front desk and he did nothing but give an email to someone superior. We stayed June 5th and upon arrival the room had a strong musty smell.
